Music I've been listening to

It all began with The Beach Boys. I was using www.pandora.com and made a Beach Boys station. I haven't been able to stop listening to it since. I've been doing the twist all week long alone in my apartment expect for one time when my roommate walked in on me dancing while I was doing dishes in the kitchen...

I've been a Beach Boys fan all my life and have re-kindled my love for them once again.

I really WAWNT this!

I have never been one who needs to have designer label clothing/accessories, but in 2006 I saw this ad for Prada and kind of fell in love with the watch the model was wearing. Ever since then I've always secretly wanted this watch. Its called the Prada Vernice Plexi Watch. They are so retro and wonderful. Yesterday a firework went off in my head and I've started to look for one on ebay... because I could never afford it any other way :( I will have it some day... I can't wait.

This is the advertisement that I saw in vogue. It's from 2006

There are so many wonderful color-ways!

I think this is a replica but this is the color combo I would like. Either this one or a the green and yellow one.

For school I used vintage cycling jerseys as my term project inspiration. My favorite part of the whole design process is finding the mood images for my collection. I was lucky enough to come across this crazy series of images. After researching more about them I found out that they are all still shots from a cycling safety video made in 1963. ...Its slightly horrifying. Click on the link above the picture to see the movie!

Travel Junkies.

really cool travel website I found.
You just log in how much you're willing to spend and where you're leaving from and it will show your destinations options... so tempting..

Wilbur!

Charlotte's Web is one my favorite childhood movies. My 1st stuffed animal was a pig just like this and of course I named him Wilbur.

Okay, lets get this thing running already...

1st blog post! I've never been a good writer so this blog will primarily consist of images and things...that I like/think are funny/beautiful/ugly/inspirational etc... Perhaps I'll post some of the crazy dreams I have (I write them all down...) so it is kind of like a journal as well. Enjoy!
